Arrests - Westminster, London

Huddersfield's Dora Thewlis

In 1907 the WSPU created the alternative 'Women's Parliament' at Caxton Hall, London. They urged volunteers from branches across the country to attend as 'delegates' that would march to Parliament to present a petition for women's suffrage. Many women from the region headed to London for each event.
